You’re planning, joking, or sharing ideas in a long thread. Then someone else asks for it.

Now, you’re stuck tapping and selecting multiple messages one by one.

The other person ends up with a messy chat that's hard to follow. Sharing it with more people only makes it worse.

👤 1:1 chat

👤 1:1 chat

While working on the 1:1 flow, I started looking at groups too. The same idea worked there, but groups come with extra challenges.

  1. How do I keep group member’s identities secret from the person who gets the chat?

  2. How do I show many chats from different people without confusing the reader?

  3. How do I show when multiple people reply to a specific chat in the group?

With these in mind, I shaped the solution for groups as well.
